The Corbridge Chamber Music Festival takes place each summer and is firmly established as the premiere Summer Chamber Music Festival in the North-East. Festival Directors, the Gould Piano Trio and clarinettist Robert Plane, are joined by a number of distinguished guests for three days of glorious music, performed in the heart of one of the county’s most picturesque villages.
Chamber classics sit alongside intriguing new discoveries and concerts can be found happening in St. Andrew’s Church (www.corbridgechurch.org.uk) at all times of day. Corbridge is steeped in history; walk in the footsteps of the Romans at the wonderfully preserved remains of Corstopitum and along Hadrian’s Wall. Fine dining, unique shopping…our audience travel the length and breadth of the country to enjoy a satisfying, stimulating and relaxing weekend of music….and much more besides!
